Register Your Child for the 2023-24 School Year

Registration is now open for returning and new students in the BISD Ascender Parent Portal program. A valid email address for parent/guardian is required. If you have not previously set up a parent portal account, instructions can be found here.

NOTE: Students who wish to transfer into Baird ISD, must first fill out the Non-Resident Student Transfer Application form. Once that has been approved by administration, you may begin registration through the parent portal.

Documentation REQUIRED FOR ALL Elementary/Secondary NEW TO THE DISTRICT registration:

Child’s Original Birth Certificate (Order a certified birth certificate at Texas.gov)
Current Proof of Residency (electric bill, water bill, or lease agreement) BISD will not accept cable, phone, gas, etc.
Immunization Records (Required Immunizations)
Child’s Original Social Security Card
Parent/Guardian valid/unexpired government issued photo id, such as passport, driver’s license or state ID.
