My educational career began as an elementary teacher in Lubbock and the years progressed to include Kentucky, East Texas, Abilene, and finally Baird.
My husband, David Williams, was brought up in Baird. We raised our 2 children, Wyndi and Rustin, here. They both attended Baird ISD during my 28 years of teaching locally. I officially retired after 36 years of teaching in May of 2016.
I recently returned to education in 2020-2021 as the counselor for Baird ISD. My personal goal as a school counselor is to assist students and their families in the development of academic and personal excellence. I take great pride in helping prepare Baird’s students to become respectful and contributing citizens of the community.
