Larry Bartee

Assistant Track Coach

Larry Bartee graduated from Albany High School. While there, he played football, basketball, and track.

Coach Bartee graduated from McMurry University with a Bachelor’s in Physical Education and a minor in History. He later went on to get his Master’s degree from Sul Ross State University in Education.

Throughout his career, Coach Bartee has had the opportunity to work and coach at several high schools, including Sherman, Canadian, Hamlin, Lockhart, Jim Ned, Munday, and Cross Plains. He has coached football, basketball, and track. Coach has a successful track record in coaching girls’ high jump, where he has sent a girl to Regionals almost every year.

This is Coach Bartee’s 11th year at Baird ISD, where he is a student favorite, teaching history at the junior high level.
