Sarah SchlieveHead Track Coach

Sarah Schlieve was a standout volleyball, basketball, softball, and track athlete in high school (MN). She was the only female athlete in the school to letter in 4 sports in a single school year. She was a captain and starter on teams that qualified for the playoffs in both volleyball and basketball. She was an all-conference selection in volleyball and track. She also participated in the state track meet as a member of the 4 x 400-meter relay after her junior year of high school.

After graduating from high school she went to Central Lakes College located in Brainerd, Minnesota where she was a member of the women’s basketball team along with being student senate president. On the basketball team, she was a two-year starter at CLC and earned a scholarship to play basketball at Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa (a NAIA Division II Institution). She attended school there until a tragedy in her family brought her back closer to home where she attended St. Cloud State University until graduation.

Since moving to Texas, Coach Schlieve has been a Head Girls Basketball Coach, a Head Track Coach, and a Head Softball Coach. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Cloud State University with a degree in Social Work and a minor in Human Relations.

Coach Schlieve resides in Baird with her husband Derek Schlieve and their four children: Camdyn, Xavier, Lincoln, and Kingsley.

The Schlieve Family
